Art Gallery - CADVC Postings
Department:

Art Gallery - CADVC
Position:

Gallery Attendant
Positions Available:
7 to 10
Duties:
Attendants sit at our reception desk when the art gallery is open. Occasionally, Attendants work as assistants during gallery events. Attendants provide basic information to visitors such as the location of our offices in the back of the gallery or the location of the nearest restroom. Typically they interact minimally with the public, disseminating info kept at the Attendant desk to one or two visitors a day. We provide electrical outlets for hooking up laptops, so our Attendants typically get to work on their schoolwork during slow periods. This fabulous opportunity provides a low stress work environment and a chance for you to be around art, artists, and other interesting people. Gallery Attendants only work when our gallery exhibitions are up and open to the public. Otherwise we work around YOUR schedule. For this year's gallery schedule, please see our website: http://www.umbc.edu/cadvc/exhibitions/
