Duties:
This position supports the daily activities of CWIT. CWIT is dedicated to increasing the representation of women in engineering and IT majors and fields. General office duties including: greeting visitors, answering phone, and document preparation; creating flyers, calendars, event announcements for CWIT events; using CWIT facebook page to communicate with CWIT Affiliates and Friends; tracking event attendance; assisting with the implementation of CWIT events; assisting with event evaluation activities; assisting with CWIT webpage maintenance
Required skills:
Ability to: communicate effectively with and be respectful of students, faculty, staff and visitors to CWIT office; ;create, edit and produce letters and other documents in Word and Publisher; accurately enter and manipulate data in Excel; must be able to be flexible, work independently, meet deadlines, and set priorities for multiple projects; must be willing to learn new skills; knowledge of and some experience creating and maintaining websites and/or data bases a plus; Knowledge of Engineering and IS majors also a plus.
